THM – BME Series – Hydraulic Orbital Motor

Drive your heavy-duty, low-speed applications with unwavering power and precision using the THM BME Series Hydraulic Orbital Motor. Engineered with an advanced Geroler gear set, this high-performance motor is specifically designed to deliver massive torque and exceptional volumetric efficiency in high-pressure environments. Capable of sustaining continuous pressures up to 205 bar (20.5 MPa) across a wide displacement range of 125 to 750 cc/rev, the BME Series guarantees smooth, pulsation-free rotation even at incredibly low speeds. Built for longevity and rugged reliability, it is the ultimate rotary drive for industrial and mobile machinery requiring unrelenting pulling and turning force.

Core Technical Specifications:-

  • Motor Architecture: Hydraulic Orbital Motor (Advanced Geroler Gear Set)
  • Displacement Range: 125 to 750 cc/rev
  • Maximum Continuous Pressure: Up to 205 bar (20.5 MPa)
  • Design Profile: High-Torque, Low-Speed (HTLS), High Volumetric Efficiency

Key Features & Engineering Advantages:-

  • Advanced Geroler Gear Set: The specialized internal roller design drastically reduces mechanical friction compared to standard gear sets. This results in a much lower start-up pressure, smoother rotation, and a significantly extended working life.
  • Massive Torque Output: Engineered for heavy-duty pulling and driving, easily generating the extreme torque required for demanding industrial applications (reaching up to 1050 Nm of continuous torque on the largest models).
  • Heavy-Duty Needle Bearings: Built with robust internal needle bearings specifically designed to absorb and withstand incredibly high external axial and radial shaft forces, eliminating the need for bulky external bearing supports.
  • High-Speed Flow Distribution: Features an advanced distribution valve design that automatically compensates for internal wear during operation. This maintains peak volumetric efficiency and ensures the motor runs flawlessly and smoothly at very low RPMs.
  • Exceptional Longevity: The automatic internal compensation and low-friction Geroler design mean the motor suffers far less wear and tear, guaranteeing a long, reliable operational life with minimal maintenance downtime.

Engineering & Operational Guidelines:-

To ensure maximum service life and safety, please observe the following operational parameters:

  • Continuous vs. Intermittent: "Continuous" data refers to the maximum value for operating the motor non-stop. "Intermittent" data refers to the maximum value permitted for only 6 seconds per minute.
  • Peak Parameter Avoidance: Operating the motor at simultaneous maximum RPM and maximum pressure is not recommended and can accelerate wear.
  • Optimum Efficiency Zone: For the best performance and longest lifespan, the optimum operating situation should be maintained between 1/3 and 2/3 of the continuous operating ratings.

Ideal Industry Applications:-
The massive torque, heavy load-bearing capacity, and smooth low-speed operation of the BME Series make it the ultimate hydraulic drive for:

  • Heavy-Duty Winches, Hoists, and Crane Drives
  • Agricultural Harvesters and Sweeper Drives
  • Industrial Conveyor Belt Systems and Material Handling
  • Mobile Earthmoving and Trenching Equipment
